Winter in Texas is very different from winter in Virginia. In Texas, before this week it had been about low 70′s or high 60′s in temperature every day which is something a kid from the north could get used to. Also, in Texas theres not much rain or snow (excluding yesterday and the day before). This is much different from Virginia. Although it may not snow very much in Virginia it constantly rains during the winter. Also the cold is biting. It is sometimes painful to walk outside because it is so cold. Even though I am the type of person who prefers winter more then any other time of year, I do not prefer the winters that Virginia has. I do not like biting cold unless you’re in Colorado and you are able to have fun on a beautiful snow covered mountain all day. Although I miss Virginia very much, I do not miss its winter.
