Basketball

I talked to a few of my old friends from Virginia the other night and asked them how my old basketball team at Flint Hill school was doing. Their response was not really what I expected. They said they had lost 7 games and only won 5, which for a Flint Hill basketball team is not very good. Flint Hill has one of the best basketball traditions in Virginia. In the late 80′s, Flint Hill won a national championship. Since then all of Flint Hill teams have at least been above average and good enough to win the MAC conference championship or at least come very close. This team will have a hard time doing that this year. They have 3 seniors on the team and 8 sophmores. Although the sophmores are very talented, with the exception of one they have no varsity basketball experience which is really hurting them at the moment. It will be interesting to see if Flint Hill can recover once conference play begins.

End of Website Design

Website Design ends tomorrow. Its kinda sad. I actually really liked this class. It was a really good first period class because of the relaxed nature of it. It is really cool that I can now make a website for my family or my friends. This class was extremely interesting.

Website

The website for Anna and my project for Website Design is going very well. We have met with Mrs. Carona and showed her what he had before, got her criticism, and we plan on making the changes that she wants. The website is very professional and it took us hours to make sure that happened. However, we do have two inside jokes from our humanities class the website. To be safe, we made sure that you could only get to these pages if you know the link, not through the actual website. I am really happy with what we have done so far.

Star Wars Marathon

Caleb Claycomb and I have always been huge fans of Star Wars. There is nothing, in our opinions, that you can dislike about the series. I could spend an entire summer on my couch watching Star Wars over and over again, and I would only get up for food and to use the bathroom. Caleb and I had a spectacular idea earlier this week. That idea was to have a Star Wars Marathon. We were going to start with episodes 4-6 and watch 1-3 if we had enough time that night, if not we would watch them the next day. It is possibly our greatest idea ever, and we have had some good ones. We plan on inviting John and Jay to join in on the fun, and maybe even give Wells and Calvin a call. It is going to be so fun.

The other day I was on stumbleupon.com because I had nothing better to do and I came across the website above that give you tutorials about how to make amazing photoshop effects. Just looking at the pictures on the website is amazing but now being able to do them is even more fun. This website is going to keep me busy for days.
